FAQ

Common questions about certification and certificate access.

These answers explain how the public website and certificate portal are intended to work.

No. The website does not create the final certificate. The certificate is issued externally and the resulting file is uploaded manually by an administrator.
The customer enters the exact Certificate ID on the certificate-access page. If the record is Active and enabled for download, the uploaded certificate file becomes available.
No. The current certificate portal uses Certificate ID lookup and does not require a customer account.
A record can be Active, Expired, Suspended or Withdrawn. Download availability also depends on the administrator access setting.
Yes. The portal uses exact matching, so the Certificate ID should be entered exactly as supplied.
The administrator module accepts PDF, JPG and PNG certificate files, subject to the configured upload-size limit.
The applicable assessment route and certification decision are handled outside the website by the relevant certification provider. The portal is used to store and deliver the final issued certificate file.
Any accreditation, approval or recognition claim published by QualityCert should be supported by current, verifiable evidence before it is displayed.
